Due to the secure nature of our service, user information and user accounts cannot be deleted. However, when a parent no longer wants or needs to use our service, either permanently or temporarily, then we recommend they do the following:
- Create a New Message to inform the other parent of their intent to stop using TalkingParents. Doing this will provide them with notice and documentation of your decision.
- Navigate to Account Settings and turn off Email Notifications. This way, you will not receive emails from our system if the other parent continues to post messages.
- Stop using TalkingParents.
By following these steps, parents can access their complete records at any time in the future if they need to. Parents can also quickly begin using our service in the future should they ever need to.
If parents decide they no longer want to use TalkingParents and need to cancel their upgraded subscription, they can do so at any time.
If the account was upgraded via the TalkingParents website, please see this article for steps on canceling the upgraded subscription.
