How are the minutes for Calling charged?

Minutes are charged to the parent who places the phone call. If a phone call is initiated, the per-minute call charge occurs. Phone calls are rounded up to the next minute. For example, a phone call that lasts 15 mins and 23 secs will charge 16 minutes to an account. For video calls, the per-minute call charge occurs when the call is successfully connected.

Similar to prepaid call plans, our minutes are billed as follows:

  • A billable minute starts when you answer the TalkingParents toll-free call
  • Billing stops when the call disconnects
  • Calls are charged in minute increments and are rounded to the next minute
  • Unanswered calls you initiate are also billed
