We cannot accurately log when a parent closes their browser or navigates away from our site. We also cannot track when they navigate back to our service without signing out. All of this tracking becomes incredibly complicated when parents are using a variety of different devices and browsers.
How do you know if your co-parent is viewing messages, and when?
The best way to tell if your co-parent is using our service is to check your conversations. Each time a parent views a new message for the first time, that view information is logged inside the conversation. Because we require parents to click or press a button to view a new message, you can always see whether and exactly when your co-parent first saw your messages. This view information is recorded regardless of whether the parent posts a reply at that time.
