You can connect your TalkingParents Shared Calendar to your Google Calendar to automatically add Shared Calendar events to your personal calendar. This integration allows you to view your TalkingParents events alongside your other Google Calendar events in one place. Follow the steps below to connect your Google Calendar to TalkingParents.
Follow these steps if you're using a desktop:
Step 1: Open Calendar Settings
- Sign in to your TalkingParents account.
- Select Account Settings from the left navigation menu.
- Click Shared Calendar.
- Under Connect to Personal Calendar, locate Google Calendar and click Connect.
Step 2: Confirm You Want to Connect
A confirmation window will appear explaining that TalkingParents needs permission to add Shared Calendar events to your personal calendar.
- Click Continue to proceed.
Step 3: Sign In to Your Google Account
If you're not already signed in to Google:
- Enter your Google email address or phone number.
- Click Next.
- Enter your password and complete any additional verification if prompted.
Step 4: Review Your Google Account
Google will display the account that will be connected to TalkingParents.
- Verify you're using the correct Google account.
- Click Continue.
Step 5: Grant Calendar Permissions
Google will ask you to allow TalkingParents to access your Google Calendar.
Be sure to Select all, then click Continue.
Step 6: Manage Your Connected Calendar
Once the connection is complete, your TalkingParents Calendar settings will update to show that your account is connected.
From this screen, you can:
- Sync your TalkingParents Shared Calendar with your Google Calendar to ensure the latest events are added.
- Disconnect the Google Calendar integration at any time if you no longer want your Shared Calendar events to sync.
Your TalkingParents Shared Calendar is now connected to your Google Calendar.
