With the recent iOS update (iOS 26), Apple introduced a new feature that screens or silences calls from numbers your phone doesn’t recognize. Since TalkingParents calls come through a toll-free number, this feature may block or silence them before they reach you.
This means you may not receive your TalkingParents calls unless this setting is adjusted.
What you will see if you have calls from TalkingParents silenced
If you do have the new feature from iOS 26 enabled, you will still receive the following notifications.
If you click "View" on the voicemail, you will still be able to answer the call from TalkingParents to connect with your co-parent.
How to Disable “Silence Unknown Callers” or Call Screening on iPhone
To make sure TalkingParents toll-free calls come through, you’ll need to turn off the setting that silences unknown callers:
Open your Settings app.
-
Scroll down and tap Apps
-
Scroll and tap Phone
-
Find the Screen Unknown Callers section and select "Never"
If you have followed these steps and are still not receiving TalkingParents calls, please contact our Support Team.
