There are several breakdowns of how to divide time in a 70/30 arrangement. The most common is the weekend schedule, where a child is with one parent during the week and the other on the weekends.
This schedule will consist of two repeating event series, one for Parent A and one for Parent B.
Follow the steps below to create the Weekend Split, AKA 70/30 schedule using the iPhone app:
- From the Calendar section of your account, select the "three dot" icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen and select "Add event"
- Enter the "Title" (ex: Parent A)
- Select the "Category Color" (This step is optional but useful for customizing events on the calendar. Please note: your co-parent will not be able to see the colors you have chosen for your events)
- Select a "Start Date" (ex: First day of Parent A's two-day Event Series)
- Select an "End Date" (ex: Last day of Parent A's two-day Event Series)
- Select a "Start Time" and an "End Time"
- Select "Repeat" and enter how often this event occurs (for this schedule, select "Weekly")
