If you're using the iPhone mobile app:
Most still consider this schedule a 50/50 between parents since it has a child spend two weeks with one parent and two weeks with the other parent.
This schedule can only be made using single events, and a new two-week-long event must be created for each parent every two weeks.
Please note: there is no way to create this schedule using a repeating event series. Each parent will need a new event every two weeks.
Follow the steps below to create the Two Weeks Each schedule using the iPhone mobile app:
- From the Calendar section of your account, select the three dots icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen and select Add event
- Enter the "Title" (ex: Parent A)
- Select the "Category Color" (This step is optional but useful for customizing events on the calendar. Please note: your co-parent will not be able to see the colors you have chosen for your events)
- Select a "Start date" (ex: First day of Parent A's two-week event)
- Select a "Start time"
- Select an "End date" (ex: Last day of Parent A's two-week event)
- Select an "End time"
- Select "Done"
- Under "Notes" enter any notes regarding the event (Optional)
- Click "Save"
In the example below, Parent A has a two-week event scheduled starting on a Sunday and ending on the second Saturday, followed by Parent B's two-week event for the next two weeks after Parent A's event.
If you're using the Android mobile app:

Follow the steps below to create the Two Weeks Each schedule using the website:
- From the Calendar section of your account, select the "+" icon at the top right-hand corner of the date you want the event to start on or click the "New event" button
- Enter the "Event name" (ex: Parent A)
- Under "Event details" enter any notes regarding the event (Optional)
- Select the "Color category" (this step is optional but useful for customizing events on the calendar. Please note: your co-parent will not be able to see the colors you have chosen for your events)
- Select a "Start date" (ex: First day of Parent A's two-week event)
- Select an "End date" (ex: Last day of Parent A's two-week event)
- Select a "Start time" and an "End time"
- Toggle "Repeat this event" and enter how often this event repeats (for this schedule, select "Weekly")
- From the drop-down under "Repeats every" select "4 weeks"
- Under "Stop repeating this event" select "Never" (or you can select "On date" and select a specific date that the event stops repeating)
- Click "Create event"
- Do the same steps for Parent B's two-week event
In the example below, Parent A has a two-week event scheduled starting on a Sunday and ending on the second Saturday, followed by Parent B's two-week event for the next two weeks after Parent A's event.
