To disable the Multi-Factor Authentication on your TalkingParents account, you must contact support directly by interacting with our chat widget, visiting our contact us page, or emailing us directly at support@talkingparents.com and submit a ticket using the email address associated with your account. Additionally, please include the last 4 digits of the phone number currently saved to your account.

If you're using the iPhone App:
Once signed in, you can change the email address, mobile number, and other account information anytime by following the instructions below:
- Select More
- Choose Account Settings from the menu
- Choose what you'd like to update from the menu
- Select the personal info you'd like to change, update it, then select Done (or Next)
Follow the steps below to re-enable Multi-Factor Authentication on your TalkingParents account:
- Go to Account Settings
- Under Sign-in & security, toggle the switch into the "on" position next to Multi-Factor authentication (if the toggle is on, it will be green, if it's off, it will be gray)
- If you have a verified phone number saved to your account, that phone number will receive a 6-digit code
- If you do not have a phone number saved to your account, you will be prompted to enter a phone number to receive a 6-digit code
- Enter the 6-digit code sent via text message to your phone number
This will re-enable Multi-Factor Authentication to the phone number associated with your TalkingParents account. You will be required to sign in with your email address and password and enter a 6-digit code any time you sign in to your account with a new device or browser.
If you're using the Android App:

- Select the "pencil" icon next to any of the information you would like to update
- Update your information and Click Save

- Choose Account Settings from the menu

- Update your information and Click Save

- Go to Account Settings
- Under General, select enable next to Multi-Factor Authentication
- If you have a verified phone number saved to your account, that phone number will receive a 6-digit code

- Enter the 6-digit code sent via text message to your phone number
- Select Verify
