If you're using the iPhone mobile app:
Push notifications are available when using the TalkingParents Android or iPhone mobile apps. Push notifications are registered on the mobile device you are using to access your TalkingParents account.
If you are experiencing issues receiving your push notifications for New Messages, Calendar Events or incoming video calls on your mobile device, please try removing our app from your phone and then downloading it again from the store. Doing this will ensure you have the latest version of our app installed.
Once you open up the app again and sign in to your account, you'll be prompted with a pop-up that reads "TalkingParents Would Like to Send You Notifications" Make sure to select Allow on this pop-up.
Follow the steps below to enable in-app notifications to your device:
1) Log into your account using the iPhone mobile app.
2) Select Account Settings from the more options.
3) Select General information
4) Select Communication preferences
5) Select In-app notifications
6) You will automatically be brought to the phone settings of your TalkingParents. Select Notifications
7) Toggle Allow Notifications

5) Make sure the toggled is On and your notification types are set.
Please note you may also need to adjust your device notification and privacy settings to allow notifications from our app.
