If you're using the iPhone mobile app:

This schedule has a child spending two days with one parent, then two days with the other parent, followed by five days with the first parent, and then five days with the second parent. The benefit of this schedule is that each parent can have a custody weekend.

This schedule will consist of four Repeating Event Series; two for Parent A and two for Parent B. Each parent will have one two-day event and one five-day event. All the events will be set to repeat every other week.

Follow the steps below to create the 2-2-5-5 schedule using the iPhone mobile app:

  1. From the calendar section of your account, select the three-dot icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen and select Add event
  2. Enter the "Title" (ex: Parent A)
  3. Select the Category if you'd like to set an optional color for customizing the event. (Please note: your co-parent will not be able to see the colors you have chosen for your events)
  4. Select a "Start Date" (ex: First day of Parent A's two-day Event Series)
  5. Select a "Start Time"
  6. Select an "End Date" (ex: Last day of Parent A's two-day Event Series)
  7. Select an "End Time"
  8. Select Repeat and enter how often this event occurs (for this schedule, select "Weekly")
  9. From the drop-down under "Repeats Every," select "Other week"
  10. Select the day on which you want it to repeat (for this schedule, select the first day of the given repeating series)
  11. If you do not want the event series to stop repeating, select "Never" (or you can enter a date that the event stops repeating by clicking "On date" and entering a specific date)
  12. Click "Done"
  13. Enter optional "Notes" about the event
  14. Click "Save"

In the example below, Parent A has a two-day event set to repeat every other Sunday, followed by Parent B's two-day event set to repeat every other Tuesday. Then, Parent A has a five-day event that repeats every other Thursday through Monday, followed by Parent B's five-day event that repeats every other Tuesday through Saturday.
