How do I change the phone number I use for Multi-Factor Authentication?

If you're using the iPhone mobile app:

Parents can change the mobile number associated with their account at any time by following the directions below:

1) Sign in to your account from on the mobile app

2) Select the more icon in the bottom-right of the screen

3) Choose Account Settings 

4) Select Sign-in & security

5) Select the arrow next to Phone

6) Enter the phone number you would like to save to your account, then select Next

7) Enter the 6-digit verification code sent via text message to your mobile phone number

Please note that when you update or change your phone number with Multi-Factor Authentication enabled on your account, the updated phone number will now be used for your Multi-Factor Authentication. 

 

If you need assistance disabling Multi-factor authentication, please contact support with your current verified phone number and email address associated with your TalkingParents account.

 

If you're using the Android mobile app:

Parents can update or change the mobile number associated with their account at any time by following the directions below:

1) Sign in to your account on the Android App

2) Select the "three dots" in the bottom-right corner.

3) Choose Account Settings from the drop-down menu

4) Choose General Information

 

 

5) Select the Pencil Symbol next to "Phone" to edit your phone number.

6) Enter the phone number you would like to save to your account, then select Send Code.

7) Enter the 6-digit verification code sent via text message to your mobile phone number

Please note that when you update or change your phone number with Multi-Factor Authentication enabled on your account, the updated phone number will now be used for your Multi-Factor Authentication.

3) Choose Account Settings from the menu

4) Select the pencil next to Mobile Phone Number

5) Enter the phone number you would like to save to your account, then select Send Code

6) Enter the 6-digit verification code sent via text message to your mobile phone number

Please note that when you update or change your phone number with Multi-Factor Authentication enabled on your account, the updated phone number will now be used for your Multi-Factor Authentication.
