How can I disable Multi-Factor Authentication on my account?

If you're using the iPhone mobile app:

Follow the steps below to disable Multi-Factor Authentication on your TalkingParents account: 

 

1) Sign into your account.

2) Select the more icon in the bottom-right of the screen

3) Choose Account Settings from the drop-down menu

4) Select Sign-in & security

5) From the Account settings page under Sign-in & security you will see Multi-factor authentication. If the toggle is gray, it is disabled. If it is green, it is enabled.

 

If you need assistance disabling Multi-factor Authentication, please contact support with your current verified phone number and email address associated with your TalkingParents account.

 

If you're using the Android App:

Follow the steps below to disable Multi-Factor Authentication on your TalkingParents account in your Android App: 

1) Select the Menu icon in the bottom-right of the screen.

2) Choose Account Settings from the drop-down menu

3) Choose General Information

4) If toggle is green, MFA is turned on.  Tap on the toggle.

5) Tap Yes, that you want to disable.

 

6) Now MFA is turned off and the toggle with be gray.

If you're using the website:

Follow the steps below to disable Multi-Factor Authentication on your TalkingParents account: 

 

1) Sign into your account through the TalkingParents website

2) Select the three lines in the upper left-hand corner.

3) Select Account Settings

4) Under General, select the toggle next to Multi-factor Authentication. Grey means that it is disabled, Green means that it is enabled
