Do I need a subpoena to get my Record?

No, users do not need a subpoena to obtain copies of TalkingParents Records.

Users can obtain copies of their Records on their own and provide them to legal professionals directly. Please see this related article: How do I obtain my Record? for more information on how customers can get copies of their TalkingParents Records.

All Records (PDF and Printed) obtained from TalkingParents include a business records certification and a unique authentication code.

PDF Records include a digital signature that can be verified using Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat. This signature not only confirms that the record came from us but also that it has not been digitally modified in any way. The signature will no longer appear valid if the file has been changed.

Printed Records have an option for a signed and notarized business record affidavit for an additional $10 fee.
