This schedule has a child spend three days with one parent, then four days with the other parent. Then it switches, with the child spending four days with the first parent, followed by 3 days with the other parent.

This schedule would consist of four Repeating Event Series; two for Parent A and two for Parent B, with each Event Series, set to repeat every other week.

Each parent will need one three-day event and one four-day event.

Follow the steps below to create the 3-4-4-3 AKA 60/40 Schedule while using the website:

  1. From the Calendar section of your account, select the green "+" icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen
  2. Select the "Category Color" (This step is optional but useful for customizing events on the calendar. Please note: your co-parent will not be able to see the colors you have chosen for your events)
  3. Enter the "Event Name" (ex: Parent A)
  4. Under "Event Details", enter any notes regarding the event (optional)
  5. Select a "Start Date" (ex: First day of Parent A's three-day Event Series)
  6. Select an "End Date" (ex: Last day of Parent A's three-day Event Series)
  7. Select a "Start Time" and an "End Time"
  8. Toggle "Repeat this event?" and enter how often this event repeats (for this schedule, select "Weekly")
  9. From the drop-down under "Repeats every", select "Other week"
  10. Under "Stop Repeating Event", select "Never" (or you can enter a date that the event stops repeating by clicking "On date" and entering a specific date)
  11. Click "Create Event"

Use steps 1-11 to create Parents A's two Repeating Event Series; the first for three days and the second for four days.

Then you will repeat steps 1-11 to add Parent B's two Repeating Event Series, the first for four days and the second for three days.

Example - website view:

In the example below, Parent A's first three-day event repeats every other Sunday through Tuesday, followed by Parent B's four-day event that repeats every other Wednesday through Saturday. Parent A's four-day event repeats every other Sunday through Wednesday, followed by Parent B's three-day event that repeats every other Thursday through Saturday.
