Push notifications are available when using the TalkingParents Android or iPhone mobile apps. Push notifications are registered on the mobile device you are using to access your TalkingParents account.
If you are experiencing issues receiving your push notifications for New Messages and Calendar Events on your mobile device, please try removing our app from your phone and then downloading it again from the store. Doing this will ensure you have the latest version of our app installed.
Follow the steps below to reregister push notifications to your device:
1) Log into your account using the Android or iPhone mobile app.
2) Select About from the menu options.
3) Select Reregister Push Notifications
This action will re-enable all notifications from the app. Please note you may also need to adjust your device notification and privacy settings to allow notifications from our app.
