If I do not have a Premium Plan, am I able to call my co-parent?

If you're using the iPhone mobile app:

To initiate an Accountable Call to your co-parent, you must upgrade your account to Premium. Only parents on a Premium Plan can start a call. Free and Standard members can receive phone calls. Video calls are an exclusive feature to upgraded plans, so parents who want to receive video calls must have either a Standard or Premium account. 


You can upgrade to Premium by following the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Select the plan you would like to subscribe to
  3. Insert payment information

 

Please keep in mind that all calls made through our service are recorded. Therefore, both parents must have Recorded Calling turned on, a verified phone number saved to their account (for phone calling), and agree to the Calling Consent in order for any calls to be connected.

 

If you're using the Android mobile app:

To initiate an Accountable Call to your co-parent, you must upgrade your account to Premium. Only parents on a Premium Plan can start a call. Free and Standard members can receive phone calls. You can upgrade to Premium in your App by following the steps below:

 

  1. Select the More icon in the bottom right corner.
  2. Choose Account Settings from the drop-down menu.
  3. Under Plan Details, select the Pencil next to Plan Type.

 

You can also upgrade your subscription directly through the Google Play Store.
